As part of "Kingdom Seekers Newsletter" each month we will have an area in which we will ask you to "target" your prayers for that month. This is strategic warfare prayer in which we have a specific target in the spirit toward which we will direct our prayers. We are continuing this month to target nations hostile toward Christians, especially nations in which the Bible is restricted or illegal. Now, to make things clear, we are not coming against the nations themselves but, the anti-Christ spirit that rules over these nations. To uproot, pull down, destroy and throw down the kingdom of darkness in order to build, plant and establish the Kingdom of God!
STRATEGIC - TARGETED PRAYER
Ephesians 6:12: "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places."
Job 22:27-28
27 "Thou shalt make thy prayer unto Him, and He shall hear thee, and thou shalt pay thou vows.
28 Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways."
In verse 27, the scripture says to "make" your prayer unto Him and He shall year you. The word "make" means to compose, construct or design. In verse 28 we are told that if we "declare" or speak forth a thing, it shall be established or settled.
During the month of February, we are going to continue targeting our prayers towards nations which are hostile toward Christians and where the Bible is restricted or illegal. Generally speaking, we should be praying for all nations as in this time and age, all nations in some form, are hostile against Christendom. Even here in the United States, there are many groups that are attempting to pass laws limiting the Word of God and the authority of believers. They are trying to silence the Body of Christ, the Church.
Not only are we to pray but we must also decree God's Word.
Isaiah 46:10 states:
"Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, "My counsel shall stand and I will do all my pleasure." God has a plan. He spoke it forth from the beginning. We must come into agreement with God and speak forth His word, calling His plan and purposes into existence.
Romans 4:17(b) tells us we are to call those things which be not as though they were. In other words, we call or declare or call into existence the desired result. Instead of confirming the current circumstance, we demand the current circumstance to be nothing and call into existence the desired result, according to the Word of God.
We are kings and priests in the earth. 1 Peter 2:9 tells us we are a chosen generation, a "royal" priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should show forth the praises of Him who hath called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.
Kings decree and priests pray.
Isaiah 60:1-3:
"Arise, Shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee.
2 For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the Lord shall arise upon thee, and His glory shall be seen upon thee.
3 And the Gentiles (sinners) shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising."
The earth shall be filled with the glory of God. How? Through each of us. We must let the glory of God shine through us. If we do, the earth will be filled with His glory and sinners shall come to the light and kings (those in authority) to the brightness of thy rising. The darker things look the more we must show forth God's love for mankind so that souls will be won for the Kingdom of God.
Matthew 16:18:
"And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock (revelation of who Jesus Christ is) I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it." The revelation of Jesus Christ will go forth throughout the nations and the Church will increase and the gates of hell shall not prevail against the Church!
We want to pray that the windows of heaven open and the Holy Spirit move in these countries, that souls will be saved and brought into the Kingdom and that God will shake all that needs to be shaken, to pull down, uproot, destroy and throw down all the works of the enemy so that the Kingdom of God can be established. Pray for all Christians around the world for their protection and safety. Pray for all ministers of the Gospel for their protection. Pray that all the plans of the enemy be foiled and that no weapon formed against God's people will prosper! Decree and declare that God's Word will not return void but will accomplish all that it was sent forth to do. Pray and decree that God remove the unrighteous and put righteous people in position of power in these governments.
Again, all those involved in this targeted prayer should plead the blood of Jesus over themselves and family members for protection from any attack from the enemy and put on the full armor of Christ.
Let this all be to the Glory of God!
