Ephesians 6:12: "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places."Job 22:27-28: 27 "Thou shalt make thy prayer unto Him, and He shall hear thee, and thou shalt pay thou vows. 28 Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways.
As we come to the end of 2009 and emerge into a new decade, I had to take a look back over the past year and looked at the devastation caused by the fall of the economy worldwide and the affect it had on people everywhere. There were many attacks on Christians worldwide by radical Islamic regimes as they attempted to spread their hatred of Christians and their struggle for world domination as they try to enforce Islamic rule. Now we have the tragic earthquake in Haiti. If we do not awake out of sleep and recognize that we are in the end times we will be caught up in what is happening in the world rather than preparing the world for the return of Christ.
At the same time, I have notice a change in the Christian community. I have seen Christians actually begin to take notice of the things that have been denied us as we have been sleeping at our post and allowed non-Christians to pass laws and take away our rights. We have begun to stand up for ourselves again. We are proclaiming the Gospel of the Kingdom more loudly that ever before. We are leaving behind the petty things of the world, denying the flesh and becoming more focused on the things of God and His Kingdom.
It is time for Christians everywhere to stand up for themselves and walk in the power and authority that is our birthright! As sons of God (both men and women as there is no gender in Christ Jesus), He has given us authority and dominion in this world during this time! One way to show forth His power and authority and dominion is through the Love of God. God hates sin but He loves His creation. Remember, when Jesus healed the sick, cast out demons, fed the multitudes... He did this out of compassion. One translation I read said He was so moved by compassion that He actually felt the afflictions of the people... He had to heal them. How great is that? According to John 13:35 the Word says that by this (love) they will know that you are His disciples... that you love one another...
1 John 4:8 states, "He who does not love does not know God, for God is love." In 1 John 4:20 we read, "If someone says, "I love God," and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen?"
It is imperative in this time that we sharpen our love walk toward mankind and see them through God's eyes and be moved with His compassion. It will be the love of the Father that draws non-believers to Him. We are to be ministers of reconciliation, reconciling God's creation (mankind) back to Him. I believe that love is a force... a power... that as our love walk increases and we take on God's heart and walk in true compassion we will walk in greater power and authority with signs, wonders and miracles following. When Jesus showed up on the scene, things happened. He did not function as God while on the earth, He operated as a man filled with the Holy Spirit. He demonstrated the love of God. He stated Himself that He only did what He saw the Father do and He only said what He heard the Father say (John 5:19 "Then Jesus answered and said to them, "Most assuredly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He sees the Father do; for whatever He does, the Son also does in like manner.") We must be so in tune with God that we allow Him to operate through us for His purpose.

Pray, first of all, for the salvation of the people of Haiti as they recover from the earthquake, that something good will come out of it. Pray for the salvation of all those who persecute Christians around the world, pray that they will see the Light and be reconciled to God. Pray that you, individually, will grow in your love walk toward mankind and that God will work freely through you, that you may walk in compassion and that you will begin to see others through His eyes. Pray that God may use you to usher in His next move.. one of love drawing in the next generation. I believe the younger generation is looking for something real... real love, real power the one and only Living God!
May God Bless You!
